Senior Technical Support Engineer
Exciting new role with a global company for a senior technical support engineer. The company we are representing works with some of the most exciting technology on the market and massively into career progression and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support from level 1,2 and 3 and act as escalation point when necessary
* Manage daily operational issues
* Build relationship with development teams and clients
* Resolve incident and problem management issues
* Drive automation and efficiency
* Capacity planning, monitoring, and testing
* Mentor junior colleagues
Key Requirements:
* Experience supporting clients on site and remotely
* 5 years technical support experience ideally at enterprise level
* Excellent Scripting skills i.e. Perl, Python, PowerShell
* Experience with various database systems i.e. SQL, Vertica, Oracle
* Strong background in Linux/Unix and Windows
* Knowledge of different cloud technologies Azure, AWS, Google
* Devops knowledge including CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker
