Product Business Analyst
Flextime Limited has been providing flexible and fixed hours’ time work management software solutions to enterprises of all sizes for more than 30 years. One of the first to provide a web-based solution, Flextime has recently started the next major transformation project to deliver a native cloud SaaS solution. Embracing the best of Microsoft technologies and cloud platform services, the project team will leverage expert design to create a fully automated application delivery platform in turn delivering an excellent application for our customers and their evolving needs.

Your Role in the Project
This is a full-time role. As the product development business analyst, you will be a central part of the team, involved in the foundational steps of a transformational project to build a new employee engagement and attendance solution utilising Azure Cloud to deliver a market leading SaaS application.
This is a truly exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated and experienced business analyst to help drive this project all the way to product launch.
You will take a central role in small strategic team reporting directly to the Flextime CTO. This project team will also work with external partners to provide upfront expertise to facilitate better decisions in less time across UX and the system architecture. You will also work with subject matter experts (SME) to elicit product and business process knowledge, interpret the voice of the customer and become the go-to person for the product solution.
Your duties and activities
Interpret, document and proof product designs and solution iterations.
Collaborate within product design and development initiatives.
Create highly visual designs and specifications to include – user journeys, use cases and business rules.
Explore and research engagement and attendance solutions, trends and products.
Produce high quality accurate and valuable documentation.
Be customer value focused and think and work visually
Propose alternative viewpoints solutions and work with the development team.
Provide feedback to all the different stakeholders
Be a quality advocate, be the first QA gateway
Liaise with developers during the technical design and implementation phases to ensure shared understanding, agreement and the effective implementation of features
Must haves:
Academic qualifications at degree or higher level in a relevant domain
Excellent communicator & interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels, fluent written and verbal English
5+ years’ experience as a business analyst or a similar roles
Demonstrable proficiency using technology to get your work done - Visio, Excel and Word, PowerPoint, Wireframes and please tell us about some new ones that you use
2+ years’ strong experience preparing and conducting requirements gathering.
Exposure to product owner and product development roles.
Preferable:
Business Analysis/ Product Owner certification
Experience and knowledge of Time and Attendance, Engagement and HR solutions.
Design qualifications and experience – UX/UI, process design
QA certification
Project Management Experience
Experience working within an MVP environment
Strong experience in User Accepting Testing, Agile and waterfall methodologies.
