Solution Architect

I am representing one of Irelands biggest companies who are currently on the lookout for a talented and experienced solution architect. If you are looking for a role that will allow you to work with the newest and most exciting technologies on the market, then this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyses business context for solutions to company and client challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, while proposing potential opportunities.
* Manage and continuously enhance the solution architecture process and artefacts to build a set of re-usable reference architectures and ensure these are leveraged anywhere feasible.
* Architect and provide technical direction for our approach for cloud/SaaS and on-premises products
* Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
* Take the lead on the establishing and execution of architecture standards and practices affecting development of all new products as well as impacting current ones.
* Developing and integrating information systems to meet the business's & client's needs.
* Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
* Act as an escalation point for junior colleagues

Key Requirements:

* 10 Years experience
* Project leadership experience in a similar role
* AWS solution architect
* Azure architect
* VMWare VCP
* Vast knowledge of Microsoft technologies including o365, SharePoint, exchange
* Networking principle knowledge including network security
* Knowledge in Checkpoint, Qradar, AlienVault Cisco would be advantageous
