Telephony Network Architect (Avaya) required to join a leading multinational based in Dublin 18. The successful person will help design solutions to deployed in a Data Center / Cloud site but securely and reliably extend to client premise. The primary focus of the role is on SIP application servers and SBC, but also expanding to 3

Responsibilities

·         Develop designs for voice solutions that provide a complete, consolidated design for integrating with 3

rd

party voice solutions

·         Work closely with stakeholder teams / vendors / partners throughout the process included design review and operational readiness testing

·         Supervision of testing resources for Proof-of-Concept tests

·         Apply best practices for design and operational support

·         Long term strategic planning for evolutionary development

Requirements

·         Excellent technical design skills related to VoIP

·         5+ years working with Avaya solutions

·         3+ years of Voice (VoIP), SIP more specifically but also TDM / PBX protocols

·         Good understanding of IP, MPLS and Ethernet Technologies

·         Good written and verbal skills

·         Strong documentation, project management and analytic skills

·         Strong cross-functional team player

·         Certifications a bonus, especially Voice certifications (i.e. CCIE or CCNA) and Security certifications etc
