Head of Information and Digital Services
The Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government supports the sustainable and efficient delivery of well-planned homes and effective local government. Since the formation of the new Government on 27th June 2020 the Department is also set to take on responsibilities for Heritage issues.
The Head of Information and Digital Services will be a key senior management position within the Department reporting to the Assistant Secretary Corporate and Business Support Division. The role will be the most senior advisor on ICT and data and digital transformation for the Department, working in collaboration with its agencies and the Local Authority sector.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 8 years ICT / Information Management experience, including leading teams, stakeholder engagement and managing resources at a senior management level;
- Experience in procurement management;
- Significant ICT management and governance experience;
- Significant proven experience of leading the design and delivery of ICT and data services and solutions including project management, managing budgets and strategic leadership, etc. including relevant experience of policy development.
