The Company

My client is a long-established software development house with expertise in cloud-based technologies operating from their established, Development Centre in Belfast. They provide customers and network providers Unified Communications (UC) analytics to enhance their Business Intelligence (BI). They have a number of product offerings including Bill Analysis, UC Reporting and Toll Fraud. Due to a number of new large contracts, they are looking to expand their Software Development Team. They now have an immediate requirement for a Software Developer/Engineer to bring innovation and a focus on how to get the best possible performance across their product suite. You will join a team focused on improving the performance and stability of the product platform. Develop new features and re-write existing ones with a focus on performance and scalability and maintainability. You will also be heavily involved in the future direction of their product sets and re-engineering areas of the business.Role and Responsibilities:

As a Software Developer/Engineer you will be required to work on almost all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through planning, implementation and testing. From a technical perspective tasks will cover development activities associated with the full stack.As an experienced C# .NET Developer, you will lead the development of software solutions and influence decision on technical issues. You will be responsible for writing software specifications, developing and implementing software applications and components and reporting to stakeholders. Using development tools such as ASP.NET C#, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS. You will code, design and test new web applications and maintain existing software systems. Communication is a key, and you will work closely with the rest of the team to get their product to where it needs to be.-You will be required to work on critical pieces of work for clients.
-You will be responsible for the continued development of our current platforms.
-You will be required to develop and deliver requirements alongside key stakeholders and effectively manage their time to ensure successful delivery.
-You will be responsible for project hand over to the customer and their support staff to ensure any, updates, bug fixes etc. can be handled within the Service Desk.

Essential Skills & Experience:

-Essential that you have a degree in Computer Science or related
-Must have excellent communication skills and able to interact directly with customers mostly online and on calls
-Ideally 3+ years' experience of developing in ASP.NET, C# and SQL experience
-Data Modelling and DB Design experience
-SQL Server database experience
-Enthusiastic to learn new products and technologies
-A Customer focused attitude

Good to have experience in:

-Mobile Technologies, WebForms, MVC, .NET Core, Web API, WCF, OData and SSIS Experience
-Team Foundation Services (TFS) & Git
