Technical Integration Developer
Purpose of the Role:
In addition to the core development to design and develop interfaces, a major part of this role will involve facilitating planning and design discussions on behalf of the Technical Leads with other necessary technical stakeholders.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities include: -
§ Managing the entire cycle of interface application development, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support.
§ Working with the extended team to diagnose and resolve interface-related issues and participating in their projects as needed.
§ Coordinating various interface-specific tasks and activities like testing, build, cutover planning, and go-live by engaging subject matter experts and vendors.
§ Driving the interface projects to ensure that results are achieved and deadlines are met.
§ Providing proactive support by monitoring live interfaces and collaborating with experts to provide permanent resolutions to problems.
§ Work with the analysts, system designers, and business owners to lead in the integration testing phase
§ Communicate with the software developers and engineers to address any problem in the program logic
§ Checking for any issues with the operation of the new applications with the existing system software’s and applications
§ Improve the business process by integration
§ Minimizing the impact of integration on various existing processes
§ Ensure deadlines are met and that service levels are maintained
§ Prepare clear, concise, accurate reports backed up by sufficient reliable documentary evidence
§ Make appropriate use of technology and standards to advance the quality and efficiency.
§ Production of test reports, KPI analysis and data validation
§ Status reporting and escalation of identified or anticipated issues
§ Review, response and implementation of change requests to agreed scope
§ Carrying out any further implementations / updates to software / applications or standards as requested and directed by the Programme Technical Leads.
§ Support for information security queries and formulation of changes / responses to any identified items and semantic interoperability
§ Development of technical guidance documentation as needed for delivery partners
§ Attendance at any meetings / workshops / presentations as required which are related to interfacing and data processing requests.
§ Advising Programme and Project Managers and Technical Leads on various technical matters as appropriate
§ Engaging with the leads to ensure alignment of the functionality or operations with wider Business requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience at a senior level in ICT implementation projects and/or supporting the operations of ICT
Responsibilities must have involved at least five of the following: -
- Systems development
- Systems integration
- Systems architecture and design
- Workflow design
- Requirements development and review
- Data migration
- IT project management
Technical experience must include at least two of the following :
FHIR, XML, JSON.
Desirable Skills, Competencies
- Extensive knowledge about event driven systems, schema, orchestration, mapping, and exception handling
- Expert knowledge about secure transmissions, digital certificates, security and privacy standards.
- Knowledge about various architectures and protocols such as REST, XML, FTP, TCP and SOAP
- Experience dealing with 3rd parties and vendors.
- Excellent ICT and technical report writing skills.
In addition, the candidate should be familiar with
· Integration and interoperability national and international standards.
· Optimisation tools to perform continuous maintenance and unit testing.
