C# / ASP.NET MVC Developer

We are looking for a strong ASP.NET MVC Developer with 3+ years’ experience to join our Dublin-based development team.
As part of an experienced team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our internal systems using C#, ASP.NET MVC 5, .NET 4.6.1, SQL Server, JavaScript, Visual Studio 2019, Git, BitBucket, TeamCity and Octopus.
You will be confident in your abilities, capable to work on your own initiative and have a true desire to learn new technologies and create high-quality software in an agile development environment. You will have strong development skills with technologies such as C#, .NET 4.6.1, ASP.NET MVC 5, Entity Framework 6.2.0, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Git and Visual Studio 2019.
Ideally you will have experience working on public facing websites, so that have gained experience around website security, cross-browser compatibility issues, performance and scaling issues, responsive design, etc.
You will have opportunities to cross-train and specialise in new technologies that compliment your skill set. Required skills and education
● Computer Science, Information Technology degree or equivalent work experience
● C#, .NET Framework 4.6.1, ASP.NET MVC 5
● LINQ, Entity Framework 6.2.0
● Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL
● IIS 8.0, Visual Studio 2019
● HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
● Team player with excellent communication skills
Desirable skills
● Experience working on public facing websites
● Database query optimisation, database schema optimisation, index maintenance
● NUnit or other unit testing frameworks
● Git, BitBucket, TeamCity
