Desktop Support Engineer - Dublin CC
This is a fantastic opportunity that doesn't come along too often for someone who want to build a career within technical support. My client provide support for some of the biggest financial organisations in the world and they are looking to hire a Desktop Support engineer for a new role in Dublin city centre.
This position is ideal for someone with 1-2 years experience in a desktop support role in a Microsoft environment. You will be providing first line support and escalating any tickets to more senior levels. You'll need to be experienced working in a customer facing role and be able to work in a fast pace transnational environment. You will also need to monitor and update all incidents and requests, including calls assigned to external suppliers.
Desired Technical Skills:
* 1-2 years hands on desktop support experience (internships included).
* Windows 2010,13,16 and windows 10 support.
* Active Directory and exchange.
* Office 365 exposure.
* TCP/IP troubleshooting.
* Experience with one of JIRE/Servicenow/Remedy etc.
* Cisco Unified Call manager.
* ITIL and Microsoft certs are a big bonus.
