Senior Engineer

Senior engineer required for on-site installs and projects, based out of our Cork office. Ideally, good experience with Windows Servers, hardware, routers/firewalls/switches, cloud technologies and virtualisation, Exchange, SQL Server, O365.

Most importantly, they are looking for a team player who is happy to assist other junior members and isn't afraid to do level 1/2 support tasks when the business is quiet.

Key Responsibilities:

* Attend onsite installation and support on LAN equipment
* Hands-on troubleshooting experience resolving a wide range of technical issues relating to; hardware and software e.g. PC's and server operating systems, Office 365 email, printers, network software, backup devices, managed switches, firewalls
* Troubleshoot remotely using the latest virtualization tools e.g. Hyper V
* Troubleshoot Malware and encryption software installation
* Identify and solve network related issues
* Act as an escalation point for level 1/2 issues
* Mentor junior team members

Key Requirements:

* 5 years experience
* Strong knowledge of Hyper-V and Windows 2016
* AV solutions - Malware, encryption software installation and troubleshooting
* Backup Solutions experience ideally with Ashay, Unitrends
* Be proactive and want to work with the newest technology on the market
* Certified in CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA, MCP
