The Department of Justice and Equality is the Department of State with overall responsibility for public policy and administration in respect of justice, public safety, civil law, national security, and equality and immigration issues. The Office of the Inspector of Prisons is a statutory, independent office whose key role is to carry out regular inspections of prisons in Ireland and to investigate any matter relating to the operation and management of a prison.
The Office is seeking a Data Analyst who has extensive research and project management skills. This person will be responsible for providing data analysis services to support and enable the Office of Inspector of Prisons in the fulfilment of statutory functions.
The successful post holder will also have an opportunity to contribute to policy development in areas pertinent to the functions of the Office.
