My client, an AI company based in Dublin city-centre, are looking for a talented Python developer to develop, design and maintain functionality across the backend systems including the core functionality, databases and APIs.

As well as this, the successful Developer will contribute to the product architecture, working alongside the other engineers to ensure delivery of excellent functionality.

In this role, the successful Python Developer will work on a critical component of the company's software, rapidly iterating on functionality to create impactful features for their user base. You will be involved in developing all aspects of the application from writing database queries to developing the REST API to serve the application's frontend.

The ideal candidate will have:

* 4+ years Python experience - experience writing web applications
* Knowledge of a Python web framework such as Tornado or Flask
* Test experience using pytest and unittest
* Git experience
* Experience with agile development methodologies
* Brownie points for experience using ORMs / SQL and accessing databases from Python

The company have the potential to hire 2 developers and so are open-minded when it comes to commercial experience. Applications are welcome from Senior applicants also.
