Key Duties
- Allocation of time between lead duties and hands on automation (60/40 split roughly)
- Day to day supervision of the team and assignment of work
- Daily updates to the capacity planner – ensuring your team members are at full capacity, flag any resource constraints to TM
- Automation – ensure the correct testcases are flagged for automation and ensure any available automation is used when appropriate
- Identifying opportunities for further test automation or efficiencies through automation
- Collaboration with UAT and ensure a smooth handover process
- Provide mentoring, including day to day support on queries regarding direction and approach
- Ensuring your team members are following all QA processes
- Line Management – sick leave, annual leave ,timesheets, 1-2-1’s
- Line Management – Goal settings and performance reviews
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Experience
- Experience with working in agile
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or any related discipline
- 2 years + automation experience
- 4 years + experience in a lead position
- Experience with Selenium or Appium
