Aspira are currently seeking a Senior .net Software Developer / Architect for a 6 months’ rolling contract in Dublin.
Role
The Senior .net Software Developer / Architect will work as part of a SW Development team in defining and implementing “Rules Engines” solutions based on regulatory rules definition. The Senior Developer will be involved in all phases of solutions development, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Requirements
- A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 10 years’ experience as a SW Developer, preferably in a structured development environment, and using best practice development tools
- Knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Technical Skills:
- net development: VB.NET, C#, asp.net (webforms), webservice
- SQL Server,
- Microsoft BI solutions and large data set processing
- XML/XBRL Business Process experience desired
- Understanding of the basic processing of XBRL files
- XBRL reporting standard
- Familiarity with XBRL data processing and analytics
Responsibilities
- Define and Implement Rules Engine solutions
- Define and Implement portal solutions, specifically for Reporting through an asp.net portal
- Lead discussions and requirements capture with business users and business analysts
- Update the configuration of XBLR processing software based on requirements of new directives, as produced by the relevant regulatory authority
- DevOps activities: define and implement build, testing, and deployment automation
- Advise and mentor junior team members
