Leading Insurance CompanyOur client is a leading international insurance company with their Irish presence based in the heart of the City Centre. You will join a close knit infrastructure team of 4 that sits within a wider team that's pushing 50 people.
The role involves providing 2nd level support to key infrastructure across the technology stack. As part of this the suitable candidate will provide day-to-day live operational systems support and administration of operational services to the business, ensuring any incidents are promptly resolved. Skills & Experience required:
3 - 5+ years experience in a broad System Admin type role
Understand basic network concepts - VLANs, ACLs, routing, DHCP
General understanding of a variety of operating systems - Windows, Linux, etc.
Ability to work in a complex technical environment incorporating DR, Resiliency, HA, with a focus on best practice solutions.
Understanding of Microsoft O365 Productivity Suite, VMware, HP Blade Server and Storage Technologies
An awareness of information security would be a nice to have
Experience of working IT Operations, demonstrating knowledge of relevant principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of stable operations.
Leading and coordinating the resolution of complex issues where responsibility is split across multiple service providers
Excellent organisational and presentation skills.
