We are currently looking for a Level 2 Support Engineer, based in Dublin, to work closely with a team of engineers to interact with management of both our client's company and their clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely and learn from experienced technical architects.
Responsibilities
* Monitoring customer systems remotely
* Managing and Updating call logs
* Diagnosing issues and providing feedback to clients on technical issues
* Maintain positive relationships between the wider IT Team and clients
* Act as a point of escalation for technical issues
* AD Administration
* Networking Services - DNS/DHCP
* GPO Configuration
* PC Hardware
* Windows Operating Systems
Requirements
* Minimum 3+ years experience in technical support position
* Knowledge of VMware administration
* Working knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS
* Knowledge of using server hardware (e.g. Dell/HP/Supermicro)
* Familiar with Storage SANs/NAS protocols (i.e. iSCSI, SAS, NFS, CIFS)
* Good Communicator
* Professional Telephone Manner
* Excellent English
* Flexibility
Nice to haves (not essential)
* Experience with SQL and/or Microsoft Exchange
* Experience troubleshooting issues with Office 365
* Familiar with Red Hat/Ubuntu Linux OS's
* Working knowledge of TCP/IP Switches and Firewalls
* Full Driver's License & Own Car
* VCP/CCNA/MCSA/MCP Certified
