Technical Support Engineer Dublin
The Role
The client I am currently working with are recruiting a technical support engineer to join their team. The Role is based in Dublin but will see you gain experience from working with teams from all over the world. The work will be varied as you will be working on various projects in both an individual and team basis. If you are looking for an entry level role in support, then this would be a great company to start with.
Key Responsibilities:
* 1st level support for all support queries
* Manage and track support queries using internal customer portal
* Escalate support issues to senior engineers
* Ensure high-quality customer support is provided
* Install and configure of hardware and software
* Assist with installing or upgrading items of hardware and/or software
* Build and prepare the Multi Test Platform for customer deliveries
* Testing and evaluating new software
Key Requirements:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Professional demeanour and business acumen
* Problem solving and analytical thought process
* Good knowledge of hardware and networking (TCP/IP)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 7 & 10
* Knowledge of Linux
* Degree Educated
* Cisco CCNA R/S 200-125
* CompTIA A+ Certification 220-1001 & 220-1002
