Our client is a large growing digital agency based in Dublin. They specialise in custom web development, SEO and online marketing for a wide range of clients. An opportunity has now arisen for a savvy Web Developer to join their team.

If you have experience of using PHP or ASP.NET and a knack for building great websites using HTML and CSS, this is a superb opportunity to develop your career, whilst receiving training.

As a PHP Web Developer, you’ll be working with clients and as part of the development team to produce innovative and exciting projects which are visually appealing sites with high coding standards. These will include brochure sites, eCommerce sites, event management applications, property management sites, Facebook apps and booking engines.

You will become a core team member, influencing technical decisions and improving development processes and infrastructure. You’ll get the chance to work on projects using the very latest technologies such as Rails 3.1, CoffeeScript, HAML, Capistrano, Spree and Git

Interested? To be considered for this role, you must have:

– At least three years’ commercial web development experience using PHP and/or ASP.NET
– Proficiency building site layouts using standard based HTML and CSS
– Strong knowledge of SQL

As a PHP Web Developer, you will have great communication and interpersonal skills, an analytical approach and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Excellent time management skills are also key.

A degree in computer science or another IT-related discipline would be advantageous to your application. Knowledge of jQuery and MySQL would also be beneficial.
