IT Manager / Technology Lead required for a well know brand based in Dublin City Centre.  This is a truly unique opportunity to help drive the ambitious next stage of technical development. This role will suit a technologist who is passionate about innovation and latest the technological trends, but can also operate at a strategic / business focused level.

Responsibilities:

·         Day to day management a high performing technology team of C25 people across Data, Apps and Operations

·         Provide leadership to the team through professional development activities

·         Help defining and implement the technical strategy for company

·         Discover, suggest and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage

·         Ensuring existing technologies are used efficiently

·         Drive recognised IT standards and principles for application and data architecture within the team

·         Ensure system infrastructure is operating securely and efficiency

·         Work with Service Delivery Manager to Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance

·         Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholder efficiently

Requirements

·         Proven experience in a technology leadership role

·         Keen knowledge of new and emerging technological trends, and being able to identify what may yield competitive advantage

·         Broad technical knowledge across Data, Enterprise Applications and Operations

·         Structure approach to architecture (TOGAF certified ideally)

·         Understanding of budgets and business-planning

·         Ability to conduct technological analyses and research

·         Excellent communication skills

·         “hands on” problem-solving attitude
