Application Security Engineer - Cork

My client in Cork requires an international technology firm that requires an application security engineer to join their team on a contract basis. A cross-functional role that will ensure consistent application of Information Security best practices to the business.

Responsibilities:

* Performing security reviews
* Risk management activities such as
* Assist in specification, development, deployment, and usage of complex cyber security systems through global environments
* Influence security best practices throughout the project
* Validation of Information Security best practices

* Vulnerability and Compliance monitoring, tracking and resolution
* Ensure timely and accurate reports, proper handling of security information and develop/optimize cyber reporting
* Support other ISRM activities

Requirements

* One or more Security cert such as CEH, GIAC Web Application,
* Knowledge of established penetration frameworks
* Experience of commercial and open source vulnerability assessment
* Knowledge of sec automation through integration
