TalentScope Recruitment Solutions are seeking applications for a IT Infrastructure Engineer who has solid technical and project implementation expertise. This role is based in Dublin 15 and will require travel to customer sites in the greater Dublin area.
This is a permanent role where you will be client-facing and involved in project implementation work, as well as contributing to technical leadership in-house and to clients.
Role
Your role will be to perform remote support and visit client sites to resolve Level 2 and Level 3 IT issues. You should have experience in implementing various IT projects such as Microsoft Office 365 Migrations, creation of virtual server environments, (Hyper-V) and rollouts (PC & Laptop). You will be responsible for installation and configuration work onsite with the customer and be able to consult and deliver customer infrastructure specifications and design of specifications. You will perform Backup checks, monitoring the customers environment and perform Antivirus checks.
Skills to Include:
*4-5 Years experience working on multiple client sites. (candidates must have IT Managed Services background)
*IT Support/Project Implementation
*Expertise in MS-Server 2008/2012
*MS-Exchange
*General Networking Services - eg. DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
*MS-Office Suite and Office 365
*Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware)
*Client facing/consulting ability - previous experience in a client facing role is essential.
*Ability to provide remote and online managed services in line with SLAs
*Networking experience - Firewalls/Routers/Switches
*Understanding of Firewall, Switches, Wireless Access Points
Person:
You should be a self-starter with excellent client-facing skills and the ability to preempt and support technical issues.
Excellent communication skills required.
Logical approach with a can-do attitude and ability to think on your feet.
Ability to prioritise in a busy environment with many conflicting issues.
You should have a full clean Irish drivers license (and ideally your own vehicle) for this role as some client visits/onsite work will be required.
