IT Engineer

About this role

My client is a well-established, successful managed services provider within the IT sector. They pride themselves in delivering top quality IT support for their clients. They are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join their team to assist their clients predominantly in the North East of the Country. You'll enjoy working with a close knit team where knowledge sharing and support are promoted while also enjoying autonomy to fully take ownership of your own role.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Diagnose and trouble shoot a wide range of IT issues
* Work on site with the client to ensure successful roll-out of various projects
* Have extensive experience in dealing with large scale IT operations
* Provide consultation and guidance to prospective clients from an IT perspective
* Provide excellent customers service throughout the process
* Oversee the installation and setup of full IT Systems

Skills required:

* 2 years + experience in working in a similar environment
* Strong networking, storage, and cloud exposure
* Microsoft server experience
* Networking experience - switches, wireless,
* Exposure to Windows 10, Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory and SharePoint
* Cyber Security, Malware, Ransom-ware, Phishing exposure ideally
