Industry leader in its area is setting up a new regional office in Ireland, based in Limerick. Looking for enterprise Cloud architects and devops specialist to bring their solution design excellence to their SaaS and PaaS product line.

And it does need to be the right person because in addition to your great knowledge of all things AWS cloud and devops, you need to be able to work with a diverse range of people. This role will be working with:
The production team, building and supporting the CI, CD, deployment and maintenance.
The Security team, developing security automation and monitoring, ensuring high security in operations.
Other development teams to help understand complex requirements and translate into automation solutions.
And therefore requires someone who is very experienced in working with teams, frequently geographically dispersed, and with different agendas to ensure delivery of great solutions. You will have great communications skills and high levels of EQ - this is going to be in start up mode for a while, so the ability to walk through some degree of managed chaos while delivering is also important :D
Tech wise - you will be familar with enterprise software devops environments and have previously designed and delivered devops solution in an AWS environment. (Did you get your AWS Certification yet? Awesome!)
You will have a strong track record which shows how good you are with continuous integration-continuous delivery so that means great skills with Virtualisation( Vmware, Xen, KVM, Virtual Box), cloud (AWS, Rackspace cloud etc) , infrastructure (puppet, chef, ansible) build tools (Ant NAnt, MS Build, Rake), SCM tools (SVN, Perforce, GIT) scripting (Shell, Ruby/JRuby, Perl, Python, Powershell) and application servers, servlet containers, and web servers. And you have a strong focus and interest in security in the cloud and application management ecosystems.
