Product Manager (OSS, Cloud Solutions) required for a global consultancy firm who provides digital product engineering services and Agile software development solutions to global brands. This is a long term (2+ years) daily rate contract paying excellent rates based in Athlone. You will be the face of the business on the Client site, so you will be required to be onsite in the beginning. As it progresses the role could be balanced between onsite in Athlone and remote working.
The suite of transformation projects will cover: Telecom OSS solution, Cloud Infrastructure, Virtual Machines, Network Infrastructure etc
Responsibilities:
- Driving technical discussions with product development unit (presentation of technical solutions, clarification of customer requirements);
- Interact with product development unit, customer unit, and other teams to find the best ways to address solution requirements;
- Participating in customer implementation projects, being responsible for one of technical or development streams;
- Coordinating with a remote team of System Analysts
- Acting peer for our local PM with direct access to client and managers on-site
Requirements:
- 3rd level degree with direct experience in a Product / System Analyst or similar role
- Successful experience in managing IT projects
- Experience in working in telecommunications areas, knowledge about OSS area and functionality
- Proficient working knowledge of Network and Carrier-grade solutions (IP MPLS, Security Services, Cloud Technology and Applications, SD-WAN, etc.)
- Experience in working in an Agile projects
- Ability to lead a technical team
