The Role:
Our client a world leading solutions provider are recruiting for a junior level technical support specialist. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be expected to engage with staff, partners and customers in order to better understand their requirements. You will provide first line day to day support for applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
* You will be providing first-line support
* Assist users with application queries and will liaise with other internal teams to problem solve
* Development of excel based VBA macros
* Document troubleshooting as FAQs for users as a self-help service
Key Requirements:
* Practical knowledge of VBA macro creation
* Excellent MS Office skills
* Expert knowledge in how operating systems and software works.
* Problem solving mindset
* Willingness to learn new technologies
* Passionate to help clients in there day to day work
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Software development skills
* Conventional Computing knowledge
Advantageous Skills:
* Experience of using Plunet Business Manager
* Net/.Net/SQL
