My Client has over a decade of experience, based in Dublin. They are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join their growing team of developers. They continue to be at the forefront of applications service providers, providing systems others are still thinking about.

Responsibilities of the Senior PHP Developer role:
• This role involves working daily with PHP and MySQL (on a LAMP stack) on the web systems the company provides to their customer base
• The focus is more on the back end than on the user interface
• The successful candidate will be expected to be very quick to pick up the business logic behind what they are being asked to do so they can fully understand the requirement from the customer
• Additionally, to liaise extensively with the customers and help them prioritise and manage their development workload
• For one particular system there is a transformational project about to commence which we will expect them to lead

Required Skills and Experience of the Senior PHP Developer role:
• 5+ years’ experience
• Strong PHP & MySQL skills, a love of multi-dimensional arrays
• Very good knowledge of the PHP language
• Good working knowledge of Linux OS
• SVN / CVS knowledge
