I am currently working with a highly regarded public sector organisation who are seeking a 1st / 2nd line support engineer to join their fast-paced IT Service Team. The team focuses on Incident and Service Request Management, communications and IP telephony infrastructure support, whilst working closely on a day to day basis with a number of major outsourced Service providers.
Your new role
You will be responsible for incident and service request logging, prioritisation and initial diagnosis to ensure all incidents and requests are recorded correctly. You will assign incidents and service requests to internal teams and external suppliers to ensure issues are resolved correctly. You will also be responsible for liaising with the appropriate technical resolver group, whilst ensuring logged service requests and incidents are reviewed, maintained and followed through.
What you'll need to succeed
Are you an enthusiastic individual looking to join a fast-paced IT Support team? Successful candidates will have:
* 2 years Incident & Service Request experience
* Experience working in a fast-paced IT Service Desk environment
* Excellent troubleshooting, triaging and problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Quick to learn new skills, systems, processes and procedures

You will receive 21 days holiday + 12 public holidays. Belfast city centre location with good transport facilities.
