Responsibilities of the Frontend Developer Role:
• Design, build and test the company’s next generation apps, front end UI and data analytics solutions
• Continuously improve the performance of current software solutions
• Add new features to current software solutions based on customer feedback
• Ensure that all software solutions can scale in a cost-effective manner in line with projected revenues
• Execute tasks in an efficient manner and report to senior management on progress and on roadblocks
• Identify and exploit new and existing technologies that will improve existing solutions and help to build the next generation applications
Required Skills and Experience for the Frontend Developer Role:
• 2+ years relevant experience in a software role, preferably working on developing cloud-based solutions
• B.Sc. degree in software engineering or equivalent, with emphasis on software development
• Experience with building front end WebApps using React or Angular is essential
• Experience in some or all the following is a must - AWS, JavaScript, JSON, Relational Databases, Web Applications, Git
• Experience with database setup and administration on a platform
• Experience in unit testing, integration testing and acceptance testing
• Proficiency with MS Excel
• A working knowledge of the Agile / Scrum methodology
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
