IT Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities for IT Support Engineer;
Monitor and debug issues across the mobile services (applications, networks, databases). Work closely with SRE teams in order to escalate issues or provide technical resolution and documentation of root cause analysis
Collaborate with SRE, R&D and Operations teams to resolve highly complex technical issues
Develop and deliver timely reports on service metrics including but not limited to availability, capacity, performance, and latency across all production systems
Be responsible for daily maintenance of services in the cloud
Continuously improve SRE operations (e.g. automate routine tasks, document new procedures etc)
Provide ad-hoc support to SRE team on various technical areas
Provide 24x7 on-call support (monitoring, escalation and tracking of incidents)
Skills and Experience for IT Support Engineer;
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Telecommunications or equivalent experience related to Information Technology, with at least 1 year experience as IT/ Internet distributed Systems engineer or SRE managing a SaaS / PaaS environment (e.g. AWS basis application), with focus on monitoring and day to day service maintenance.
Experience operating in Linux environment
Experience of configuration and operation with monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix etc).
Experience with Apache/Tomcat basis application maintenance
Experience in network technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, Ethernet, UDP, DHCP, DNS, ARP, WAN routing)
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive
Skills of at least one programing languages and/or script languages (e.g. Bash or Python) would be an advantage
Solid understanding of incident management, change management, and problem management processes (e.g. ITIL certification)
Understanding of DevOps environment and ISO27001/CSA-STAR standards would be a competitive advantage

The IT Support Engineer will support mobile services responsible for global cloud service O&M and provide 24/7 cloud service stability and security service.
You will be responsible for monitoring of mission critical, customer-facing systems across public cloud environments, working closely with global SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) teams to assist in daily services/applications maintenance and continuously identify improvements in the existing deployment approaches.
