The role of the Group ERP Application Specialist is to develop, implement and support our clients Application Portfolio and Strategic deliverables. You will work to define technical requirements through good understanding of the business which will allow you to be effective at satisfying application requirements in a future proof manner.

As a part of a dynamic team you will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple phases of a solution lifecycle always in a customer centric manner. As such you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining application solutions as part of an overall portfolio through collaboration with all levels of the organisation and external partners.

Finally, you will also lead and manage the application Architecture, Standards and Governance policies while also be able to interpret, implement and facilitate integrations where necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties

·     Determine the direction for the team & expectations regarding performance & behaviours

·     Identify areas for further development and value add in systems provision

·     Define, develop and deliver a roadmap for system and solution delivery aligned to Group Strategy

·     Provide as well as co-ordinate clear system and solution delivery plans to enable business value

·     Provide regular progress updates and adapt prioritisation as required to deliver business goals

·     Oversee all aspects of project delivery from initial requirements gathering through to development and implementation

·     Manage and improve BAU support to the business adopting a shift-left approach to service management

·     Ensure appropriate delivery and change management controls and processes are adhered to

·     Provide coaching/highlight areas to develop and improvement for organisation

·     Ensure that support processes are efficient, with tickets closed within the established SLA’s

·     Sufficient level of technical background, allowing you to deliver highly credible consulting in your area, while being able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues

·     Have a solid understanding of the software development life cycle models as well as delivery methodologies including both Waterfall and Agile principles and practices

·     Act as a Trusteed-Advisor and Strategic-Partner to the business and various 3rd-parties

SKILLS and Qualifications

·     BSC in Computer Science or equivalent

·     5+ years of experience in similar roles and ERP systems

·     Experience in standardising, deploying and governing ERP systems and solutions

·     Excellent knowledge and/or certifications of ERP and Satellite applications:

·       ERP platforms as Infor M3, Epicor Tropos and SAP

·       Satellite systems as Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, CRM

·       Market Leading BI tools as Cognos, Tableau, Power BI

·       Databases as SQL Server, Oracle, DB/2

·     Must possess exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities

·     Highly motivated individual with strong sense of ownership

·     Must be proactive with solid organisational and time management skills

·     Excellent written and verbal skills

·     Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communications skills

·     Must have ability to document processes and procedures in a clear and concise/logical manner including translating business requirements into technical requirements documentation

·     Excellent Microsoft Office skills

·     Ability to present technical issues to non-technical audiences
