Desktop Support Engineer - Contract
My client based in South Dublin has an excellent opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer on a 2 month engagement. The role will be focused on providing level 2 support, resolving desktop and server issues.
2 Month Daily Rate Contract

Prove 2nd line technical support via various communication channels
Work closely with IT support staff to obtain technical knowledge to permanently solve main problems
Managing Hardware and providing breakfix support (monitors, keyboards, phones, printers)
Hardware incidents (Printers, Laptops, Desktop ) * Software incidents (O365, Windows 7/10, bespoke applications )
Participate in documentation of technical proceduresRequirements
3+ years in an IT support environment
3rd Level Diploma/Degree
Virtualisation support experience
Experience with Networking, MS OS Windows, Sharepoint, Office 365, Active Directory, Backup, Windows and Windows Server
TCP/IP networking, Switches, Routers and wireless network exposure
