Desktop Support Engineer - Contract
My client based in South Dublin has an excellent opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer on a 2 month engagement. The role will be focused on providing level 2 support, resolving desktop and server issues.
* 2 Month Daily Rate Contract

Role
* Prove 2nd line technical support via various communication channels
* Work closely with IT support staff to obtain technical knowledge to permanently solve main problems
* Managing Hardware and providing breakfix support (monitors, keyboards, phones, printers)
* Hardware incidents (Printers, Laptops, Desktop ) * Software incidents (O365, Windows 7/10, bespoke applications )
* Participate in documentation of technical procedures
Requirements
* 3+ years in an IT support environment
* 3rd Level Diploma/Degree
* Virtualisation support experience
* Troubleshooting skills
* Experience with Networking, MS OS Windows, Sharepoint, Office 365, Active Directory, Backup, Windows and Windows Server
* TCP/IP networking, Switches, Routers and wireless network exposure
* Any of the following - CCNA, Comptia + or MCITP, MCSA.
