The Role
My client is looking to expand its development team to support its existing product suite and to develop new applications to meet exciting new commercial opportunities in the telecom’s world.

Responsibilities of the .Net Developer Role:
• Understand and participate in the entire application lifecycle, implementing new features and functionality primarily using the Microsoft stack
• Contribute to projects, providing development estimates, technical guidance, design suggestions and evaluating risks
• Learn/understand existing applications, suggest improvements and research new technologies
• Some DBA functions – backup/restore, permissions, troubleshooting
Required Skills and Experience .Net Developer Role:
• 3+ years’ experience developing in .NET with a track record of producing clean maintainable code
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to understand complex problems
• A solid understanding of developing web applications using ASP.NET and a working knowledge of CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
• Proficient in OOP, design patterns, solutions architecture best practices
• TSQL knowledge, advanced SQL querying, query tuning and index optimisation ability, working with large SQL Server databases
• SQL Server Reporting Services development experience
Desirable Skills and Experience for the .Net Developer Role:
• Experience with deployment tools such as team city, octopus deploy
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing and test automation tools and techniques
• Experience with JS frameworks
• Experience in developing WCF web services and WebAPI
