Our client is a niche IT company operating on the outskirts of Belfast in Carryduff. They are now seeking a Software Developer to join their team.

As a Software Developer for our client, you’ll play a key role in the development, design and testing elements of our client’s innovative software.

You’ll be using MS .NET frameworks and C# language, creating the desktop personnel package and the web-based employee self-service modules. Every system is bespoke to each client (of which there are currently over 200), so there is variety everywhere.

Carryduff is situated just a 20 minute drive from the city centre, you’ll still be close to a couple of local restaurants, eateries and pubs. There are a number of shops locally and a leisure centre so you’ll have plenty of amenities but without the parking problems!

So, is this the role for you? If so, you’ll need to have:

– At least five years’ commercial development experience
– Experience of developing .NET Windows Forms and ASP.NET applications using C#
– A solid grounding in SQL Server

The only other elements that will really make you stand out are your attitude and work ethic. As a Software Developer within a small company, you’ll also need great communication skills and a team player mentality
