IT Security Consultant

My client is a technology service provider that requires a security consultant to join their security team. The successful candidate will provide indepth security IT consulting to clients.

Role

* Analyse, evaluate and make recommendations regarding secure enterprise data, applications and systems
* Maintain knowledge of industry standard security technologies (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and endpoint security)
* Implement solutions for customers such as the development of design documents
* Perform troubleshooting on network security issues
* Assist members in a collaborative environment

Experience

* Third level technical degree
* Experience with technical security vendors such as Cisco, Checkpoint, McAfee and Palo Alto
* Security related to PCI-DSS, SOC and ISO
* Security engineering and support (IDS/IPS, VPN's,)
* Experience with cisco security implementation and administration
* Desirable: Security and network certifications such as CISSP, CCSE, CCNP, CCIE
* Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
