UI Developer
My client is a leading international technology company that provides a range of software & services that help drive efficiencies and quality in healthcare. They are currently on the lookout for a UI Developer to join their team based in Dublin 18.
The individual will be part of a team of 7 people who design, develop, deploy, maintain and support applications running on client facilities.

Responsibilities of the UI Developer Role:
• Assisting the testing team for pre-acceptance testing of products under development from a user’s point of view
• Review and document functional and technical specifications
• Developing to specifications for web applications
• On-going technical product support
• Delivering performance or functional improvements
• Installing and configuring applications for clients
• Developing and creating integration solutions
• Managing customer training and product acceptance
• Other duties as may arise from time to time
• Documenting server and application configurations
Required Skills and Experience for the UI Developer Role:
• 2+ years experience working as a Front end/UI Developer
• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript/ UI technologies
• Strong technical acumen in relation to Internet protocols, Scripting languages, Windows application servers, SQL databases is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to take requirements through to completion and problems through to resolution
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, both in a team or alone, juggling several projects simultaneously
• Strong communications skills particularly with clients, as the candidate is expected to interact with IT professionals, healthcare administrators, clinicians, etc
• Strong motivation and determination to see product, project and client projects through to closure, within managed and agreed timelines
Desirable Skills for the UI Developer Role:
• Skills with or working knowledge of Azure, IIS, Web Services, OData, GIT, VSTS is desirable
• Knowledge of HL7 and any related healthcare IT is advantageous
• Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a similar or related role in the healthcare sector or technology field
