Cisco UCCE Engineer - Belfast (1 year contract leading to permenant)

Primary responsibilities include daily operational support and changes for the local call center and support of the other UCC environments in the enterprise.
Project based engineering, installing and troubleshooting Cisco enterprise Telephony infrastructure and related environments. Additional requirements include creating and updating network documentation, network assessments and reporting results. This position will work closely with other members of the team as well as key business stakeholders to support the overall mission of the company and its' strategic business initiatives throughout North America.
4+ years of UCCE experience, versions 8x and above
Building, supporting and presenting proofs of concept
Strong ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Additional Responsibilities and Experience:
Assist with the design and install Cisco network equipment in support of enterprise-level VoIP architectures.
Assist with the design, install, management Cisco Call Manager 8.x, 9.x, Unity Connections, and associated Voice Applications to include UCCX, UCCE, ARC, AQM, CER and others.
Knowledge and experience with Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) services and functionality.
SIP Trunking knowledge and experience provider-based as well as internal.
IP Telephony systems administration, configuration, and implementation
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors call routing, queues
Ensure that requirements for high availability are in place for the Cisco environment -
Receives minimal supervision, no instruction on routine work, and general instruction on new assignments.
Provides guidance & leadership to less experienced engineers.
Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
3+ years' experience installing and advanced configuration on Cisco Call Manager platforms
3+ years' experience with Cisco Unified Messaging and other UC applications
3 years' experience configuring and troubleshooting VOIP Trunks and VOIP Gateways.
3-4 years' experience with Cisco routing, switching and wireless products
3-4 years' experience supporting enterprise WAN environments with MPLS-based carrier-provided services
