Our client provides transformative network solutions to leading mobile operators around Ireland. They are looking for a Junior Oracle Developer to join their software development team in Dublin City Centre. Salary range €35-40k + benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Ensuring data is clearly defined
* Data consistency across the database
* Enabling users to access data concurrently in a way that suits their needs
* Provision of data security and recovery control

Duties:

* Developing, enhancing and maintaining Database Applications
* Create and maintain PL/SQL packages
* Report requirement gathering
* Develop new reports and maintain current reports
* Propose improvements
* Data investigations and problem-solving
* Ensure reports are accurate, timely & meet stakeholder's requirements
* Advocate the best practices (testing, documentation & development)
* Be proactive with stakeholder communication and meet their reporting requirement

Required Experience:

* Good Oracle (11g and above) SQL writing and optimization
* Creating and maintaining PL/SQL packages
* Understanding of Database design, Data modeling and ETL concepts
* Experience dealing with large volumes of data
* Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
* Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
* Proficiency in English communication skills
* Passionate about complex data structures and problem-solving
* Logical and inquisitive, able to pick up new data tools/concepts quickly

Desirable Experience:

* Experience developing using Oracle APEX
* Experience with Amazon AWS
* Basic understanding of Oracle SQL performance tuning
* Basic Oracle DBA skills
