The Business Development Team Lead will be required to not only contribute individually to the revenue target, but will also lead the sales team through coaching, mentoring and general day-to-day admin duties. Ideal for someone with a track record selling SaaS solutions, preferably to SME-Enterprise size companies, where you have built multiple touchpoints within these accounts.
Take care of a full, 360degree sales cycle from prospect to close.
Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets
Undertake weekly Coaching/mentoring of team
Perform monthly/quarterly business reviews with team members
Lead sales initiatives in Enterprise and accounts
Manage multiple stakeholders and develop relationships with key decision-makers
Coordinate, and actively participate, in contract negotiations to meet or exceed quota
Represent at industry conferences and association meetings
Remain knowledgeable of the latest products/services in the industry
Document and track all activities using CRM (Salesforce)
Proven history of B2B software sales experience, preferably into enterprise accounts
Strong ability to build lasting relationships through strong interpersonal and influential skills
Business and financial acumen to support and guide the client through your recommendation
Experience in managing the sales process from start to closure
Strategic thinker, with excellent organizational skills committed to executing innovation
Self-motivated personality and genuine commitment to excellence in sales and customer success
Experience in successful team leadership, preferably within a SaaS environment.
