Java Team Lead Contract

* 12 month contract
* €450 - €550

You'll help a leading organisation transition from legacy tech and processes towards an Agile environment making use of a microservices architecture deployed on AWS.

Managing a number of small development teams with various projects at different stages of the development lifecycle, your role will be to manage and coach development teams, ensure delivery and to handle innovation.

They want somebody with a strong technical background but who is focused on management, who understands how to engage developers and who can help with the transition towards Agile & product based teams.

Desired Skills / Experience

* Background in Java development, able to perform code reviews and still contribute to development as and when required
* Strong Team Lead experience, ideally multiple years managing Java development teams.
* Strong understanding of the Spring framework & JEE tech - REST, JavaScript, AWS etc.
* Expereince working on microservice based projects is desired
* Experience working in transformation projects is nice to have, both in the transition to Agile and in migration from legacy systems to new tech.
