Business Development Manager
The Role
I'm currently working with a content intelligence company based in Dublin. They make it easy for companies to not only collect, but truly understand large volumes of human-generated content on the web using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing.
They are looking for a growth-focused (hunter) sales professional to join their existing team. The role is for an individual contributor with proven business-to-business new sales and (ideally) account management experience. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth start-up in an innovative and expanding technology space.
You will manage the complete sales cycle from initial prospect engagement to deal close, to ongoing account management.
The Responsibilities:
* Outbound prospecting across phone, email & social
* Targetting a set of named accounts and achieve revenue goals.
* Build and nurture relationships, leading to sales.
* Juggle multiple new opportunities as well as managing existing accounts.
* Take full responsibility for personal revenue targets.
* Manage the pipeline process in CRM.
* Meet and exceed quarterly targets.
The Requirements:
* 5 years' experience in successfully selling B2B Tech/IT/Software products - Midmarket & Enterprise level
* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
* Consultative approach to sales.
* Strong organizational and time management skills are a must
