Level 1 Helpdesk Engineer - Dublin CC
This is a really exciting role for someone out starting on their engineering career. If you're a recent graduate or someone with about a year of technical support/Helpdesk engineering experience then this would be a really interesting position for you.
It's a chance to join a hugely established company who are a big player in the financial world. They are a highly regarded Hedge fund who have been expanding their Dublin office across the course of this year. They are currently looking to take on 3 Level 1 Engineers to work out of the Dublin office and be part of the follow the sun support rota with their US and Asia based teams.
Ideally you will have some technical infrastructure background, be that in your degree or in a hands on level 1 role already. Some good knowledge of both windows and Microsoft infrastructure would be preferable as well as strong problem solving skills and a strong work ethic.
There will definitely be opportunities to progress in the organisation whether you look to progress down the infrastructure engineering, DevOps or Development paths.
Desired Skills/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline.
* Strong knowledge of both Linux and Windows based infrastructures.
* Strong Storage skills.
* Hands on networking exposure would be desirable.
* Strong troubleshooting.
