Security Operations Manager

At Gempool, we are delighted to offer a highly motivated Security Operations Manager an exciting opportunity at one of the largest IT Security consultancies in the world. 

As an ideal candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring that a team of highly skilled security professionals adhere to SOC policies and work with our CTI function, reporting on any vulnerabilities that may emerge.

Skills and experience (required):

You will have proven, previous experience in leading an information security team (1 year minimum).

One should have an expert knowledge of security in an enterprise environment as well as a passion to capitalize on the wonderful growth opportunities that will arise throughout your employment. (1 year minimum).

It is important that you have had previous exposure to technologies such as: Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Firewalls & Log Analysis, SIEM, antivirus and various Malware and forensics tools.

Skills and experience (preferred)

A good grip of ITIL is desired, but not essential to the job. 

Organisation and exceptional business management skills are a plus, and will help largely with implementing the company’s processes and policies. 

Salary: 50k but open to negotiation

Location: South Dublin

Permanent, full time position.
