My Client operates in a complete niche space and has developed a bespoke Cloud Software Product which automates vehicles 24/7 to gather various data that they use to inform Government agencies and private companies. The successful candidate will have strong initiative, code and debug, along with various other tasks.

Responsibilities of the Software Architect – Developer role:
• You will be involved in managing the software Vendors to develop and evolve the product from its current functionality to a more stream lined
• Lead development of cloud system architecture and web applications for user–to–vehicle communications
• Working with external developers and suppliers (you will be managing one to two Software vendors who will be developing the product) to produce, commission and maintain web and application code as required
• Development, commissioning and maintenance of cloud systems which support continuously live operations
• Create quality technical specifications, procedures and reports
• Support, develop and maintain cyber security strategy
• Implement revision control and licensing procedures
• Liaise with external parties during collaborative projects or during third party review
Required Qualifications and Skills of the Software Architect – Developer role:
• Minimum 5+ years’ relevant software development experience
• Knowledge in Cloud technology is essential
• Deep knowledge of Cloud technology (Azure, AWS or other) , project management and vendor management skills
• Experience of designing and coding web applications and cloud systems
• Ability to seek innovative solutions for design enhancement
• Practical approach to work with an emphasis on simplicity of design and operation
Desirable Experience of the Software Architect – Developer role:
• Knowledge of IoT systems, including cybersecurity considerations
• Experience with GAMP documentation (URS, FDS, FAT, SAT etc.)
