Development Manager / Team Lead needed to join a global market-leader operating in 20+ countries currently. This role is an initial 1-year FTC with strong likelihood of moving into permanent based in Sandyford, Dublin 18 (beside Luas stop).

Responsibilities:

·         Day-to-day management of Development Team (Java and .Net) including performance management, retention and reward

·         Manage the delivery of quality software solutions in rapid increments using agile methodologies

·         Working with application owners and Development Leads to define and implement new

features, facilitate architecture discussions, and providing technical solutions

·         Management of stakeholder expectations in terms of project delivery costs and timelines

Requirements:

·         3 years’ experience in a Management / Team Lead capacity for Agile Software Development teams

·         Experience designing enterprise solutions, web applications, big data systems, workflow solutions, agile methodology with a focus on system performance and UI/UX design.

·         A strong technical background in Java and/or .Net technologies

·         Experience working with onsite and remote teams within a multinational company

·         ITIL certified is a bonus

Remuneration:

·         75K starting salary

·         12.5% bonus
