Becoming a Support Team Lead with AMT Sybex:

We have an opening for a Support Team Lead and are looking for an enthusiastic individual for this challenging position as part of our support team for our Affinity Flow Product Suite (Marketflow, Meterflow and Networkflow). Marketflow is a market interaction management solution used to manage to manage industry processes, and their associated dataflows, for more than 35 million gas and electricity customers. Similarly, Meterflow is used to manage meter data and provide Smart Command Orchestration for the next generation of Smart Meters. Networkflow helps Distributed Network Operators (DNOs) solve the key challenges of optimisation and forecasting demand across the network and generation for renewable assets.

What you'll be doing:

Management: Both from a person management perspective and from the overall control of process
Organisational: Ability to handle meetings in organising, chairing and documenting to ensure actions are followed up
Communication: An ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
Interpersonal: Presentation skills; Telephony skills; Communication; Actively listening and customer care training
Business awareness: specific knowledge of the organisation's business areas, drivers, structure, priorities etc.
Service awareness of all the organisation's key IT services for which support is being provided
Processes and procedures (incident, change, knowledge and problem)What we're looking for:

Carrying out the generic process manager role for the incident management process
Planning and managing support for incident management tools and processes
Coordinating interfaces between incident management and other service management processes
Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the incident management process
Producing management information
Managing the work of incident support staff
Technical awareness (& deeper technical training to the appropriate level, depending upon the resolution rate sought). Experience with some / all of: Java, Scala, Oracle DB, SQL Server, PL-SQL, SQL, SAP Netweaver, JBoss, WebSphere, Windows Server, UNIX, Linux, Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, Git.About AMT Sybex
