Our client is on the lookout for a multi-skilled Web Developer to join their small, dynamic new media team. Part of a cutting-edge Dublin based design agency, you’ll have the chance to work with some high profile clients.

If you can build and maintain a mean CMS system and e-commerce website and you want to join a company with loads of experience – then read on. There will be great progression prospects for the right candidate.

As a Web Developer, you will be tasked with building and maintaining CMS systems using Classic ASP, PHP, MySQL and MS SQL.

Working on current and new projects for a number of exciting clients, you’ll have the chance to show off your great XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. You will be tasked with developing websites on Joomla and Drupal as well as administering IIS on Windows Server.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

– web development experience
– a proven track record of building and maintaining CMS systems and e-commerce sites using PHP, Classic ASP or similar
– strong XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, AJAX and MySQL skills

As a Web Developer, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively within a small team. Good problem solving skills are also key.

Although not essential, a degree in computer science or an IT related discipline would be an advantage to your application. Knowledge of Joomla and Drupal or IIS administration on a Windows Server would also be beneficial.
