Information Security Officer - Contract

My client is an international services firm based in Cork that is seeking an experienced information security professional to join their team on a contract basis. You will manage the information security activities and act as an advisory across all functions.

Role

* Develop, maintain and improve the firms information security policy in support of ISO 27001 certification
* Drive security awareness across the organisation
* Minimise loss prevention and resolve information security incidents
* Maintain a register of known risks to Information Security following risk assessments and analysis
* Security monitoring using SIEM tools
* Liase with internal and external teams to support security audits

Requirements

* 5+ Years in an information security based role
* Hold a minimum of 1 security certification. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH etc
* Experience in managing ISO27001 information security management systems
* Experience in supporting security audits
* Understanding of organisational threats and risks
