Lead Software Engineer – Ruby

Based in the heart of Dublin, my client is looking for a Lead Engineer to join the join at a time where the team and company are scaling and building new and exciting products every day.

The Lead engineer will have expert Ruby on Rails abilities and have the desire and experience to lead product development operations and continue the build of other platforms.

Technology stack / tools used;

- Ruby, Ruby on Rails
- JavaScript, Angular
- AWS
- Algolia, PostgreSQL, NoSQL
- Docker
- Agile environment

Primarily you will be using Ruby and JavaScript, anything else is advantageous.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated strong design and coding skills in both Ruby and JavaScript
- Strong experience with cloud computing platforms, ideally AWS Experience building high-performance, highly available, scalable systems Experience working with and leading high performing teams
- Experience analysing data while developing solutions to problems. Experience working in a fast paced, technically challenging environment bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience
