Overview:
The position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager based at in Dublin, Ireland. The candidate must be a strong leader who can quickly assimilate into the organisation, can work independently and can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership for the oversight and governance of all approved IT projects
- Oversight of all approved IT projects
- Management, guidance and coaching of the IT project team
- In conjunction with Business Engagement and Solution Delivery teams, initiate approved IT projects, define resources, refine budget forecast and setup governance structure
- Act as point of escalation for project risks and issues
- Work with team members to deliver projects on time, to budget and quality
- Work with Global IT Manager to provide accurate, timely and transparent status updates for all projects
- Deliver accurate, concise and high-quality project/ portfolio documentation
- Manage risks and project change requests
Requirements:
- Professional Senior IT Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects
- Solid knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
- Solid experience in delivery of application-based projects
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management - dealing with senior management up to executive level
- Ability to work with dispersed and global teams and locations
- Experience in the electronics industry required
- Experience in the delivery of PLM and QMS projects required
- Experience in the delivery of SAP projects is advantageous
- Relevant professional qualification would be advantageous if combined with practical experience
- Fluency in the English language is required
- Prince2 / PMP certified Practitioner with 15 years IT Experience
